Flight 001’s power adapter features four color-coded plugs that make it easy to use your electronics in over 150 countries. See which works where with their handy interactive Adapter Map.
Why We Love It
The bold, beautiful colors of Flight 001’s 4-in-1 adapter are much easier on the eyes than the bag of bland beige adapters we’ve been carting around for a decade. But they serve an incredibly practical purpose as well. Each color corresponds to a group of countries that use the same type of outlet, and while the groupings may seem a little random, figuring it all out is simple using their interactive Adapter Map. The map might not explain why you need a Red, Blue and Green adapter to travel down the coast of Africa from Sierra Leone through Liberia to Ivory Coast, but hovering over Ghana does reveal that as you continue your journey east, that country uses the Red type as their primary outlet but also the Green as a secondary. No matter, since all four of the plugs interlock into a handy little block that’s simple to pack.
Why We Love It
Before this adapter, packing for trips abroad always came with a little extra nervousness. We just weren’t sure if we’d have the right plug for the job, which would mean traveling around a foreign land with a dead cellphone or showing up to a meeting with no juice in the laptop. But we’re totally put at ease by this adapter’s whimsical, practical color scheme. Now we can even be sure our Dark Energy Reservoirs and Tego Power Cards are fully loaded for the next days adventures whether we’re crashing in a Swedish hostel or in a downtown Sydney hotel.
